Perfect home connection

Use this with 50-30A and 30-15A adapters to power your RV whilst stored at home . This saves me from pulling a 30 foot 50 amp camping line when the 15 amp outlet is 3 feet away.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Good but not great

Helps eliminate tendon stress at RV joint

Works great. Minimizes exposure to power chords coming off the RV. Attaching to both the camper and the main power cord was easy. Especially with the big handle at the end.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Disappointed with RV parts and accessories

I liked the idea of relieving my RV's shoreline cord with this plug but have only used it a second time and was very careful when fitting it onto the plug on ours camper, the plastic ring broke in half! Apparently the ring was originally defective or was supposed to be metal, like on a camper van. I am very disappointed as I was hoping to find some useful use for this article.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Bad landing at the end of the RV.

I haven't had the problem that some people have with connector timing. If your website takes around 8 hours, the Camco and Marinco models are for you. The reason I returned this is because the round end of the connector is molded too small for a VERY loose connection. I can't imagine the ground staying in contact without getting up and pushing the plug to the side. Thought it might be worth a try for less than half the price of the Marinco unit. I was wrong. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • High scores for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • When in doubt

Relieves strain on outlet

Was looking for a pigtail with a 50A snap ring for use with our motorhome. The standard 50A cord you typically use is heavy and puts too much strain on the outlet. I'm pretty sure it would eventually break or worse if I kept using the power cord. This product allows me to screw into an outlet at a 90 degree angle down to the power supply hole in the bay. As a bonus, 50A extension cords are slightly cheaper. It's a little tight twisting the other end and pulling it through the entire cord, but…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in white

You save twice as much as you paid for it.

If you're looking at this, you have a large RV or boat. I've been an RVer for almost a decade. I consider it a must. This solves a big problem and a price driver problem. First problem, the factory 50 amp cord is plugged in straight and completely twisted. Due to the presence of copper and insulation, the weight of this device and the cord hanging from the RV puts a heavy load on the outlet. In particular, it starts to separate after a few years (3 years in my case). This device dangles at a…
