I am a 67 year old woman. I climbed a 10 foot ladder to replace this decorative trim on the roof edge of my 28 foot Primetime Avenger trailer. The temperature was about 76 degrees. It was very flexible and easy to implement. I only clamped it in the middle to fit in the edges of the fairing. It didn't take long to complete the task and seemed very safe. Highly recommended.

The product is very flexible and easy to install. I've found it easier to install by clamping and threading under the side grooves rather than threading all the way in at once, warm weather also helps. This is a direct replacement for the damaged material and I hope it will be more durable than the original factory installed material which only lasted four years, time will tell.

Replaced kite bar on our Forest River Wildwood trailer. I find this product thicker or heavier than the original. It was easy to install in 70 degree weather. At lower temperatures it becomes quite stiff and a bit more difficult to work with. Since the original had a screw to hold each end in place, I did the same here and didn't expect any shrinkage. I sealed the top end and left the bottom end open to let out moisture. Fits perfectly.

I received and installed it on a "cold" day here in Florida. 50F = cold :) I mention this because the skin was still flexible and I was able to put it on without any problems. I used this on the front panel of my caravan between the diamond panel and fiberglass panel where the screw cover was missing. Water got under this gasket this winter. The water froze and tore the belt along its entire length. This replacement fairing is an exact factory replacement. After removing the old skin, I plugged all the screw holes so there were no leaks. In doing so, I found that a few screws were missing, just a hole that the factory engineer had drilled but no screw inserted. The top and bottom of the decorative strip is embossed by me. I ordered this to restore my Allegro motorhome with orange trim that I can't find anywhere.
