I thought they were thin sheet metal stampings, but they were thicker milled parts that are a bit heavier. Not bad for the price. Better than plastic waste.

Good quality - aluminum with nice interior sealing. The only problem is that the ones I received are BLACK and not silver as pictured. So if it were for agricultural vehicles, no problem, but they are for my aluminum car wheels, so a flop. I wanted a very small, unobtrusive case, and it fits all requirements perfectly, except for the color. I think I might rip off the black paint or wire brush - either way I want a matte finish. But what a PITA.
