The game that will change me

I'm here to protect the camel tank on this one. I actually think the magnetic clip is very good, but I don't know if anyone who hates it understands that it can be attached directly, only has to be pushed upwards when removing it? Weight in a much better place and you stay a lot cooler. It fits 1.5L in it and I can fit a couple more soft bottles in if needed - add my 25oz frame bottle and that's a ton of water. I waited a long time to purchase due to bad reviews but my friend said it was the…

Pros
  • PERFECT FOR BIKE RIDERS WHO NEED MORE THAN A BOTTLE BUT LESS THAN A FULL BACKPACK
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Good quality, poor fit

Sorry camelbak you had to go back. The quality of the outer packaging is excellent. I intended to fasten it, but like many other reviews, the waist belt didn't live up to the advertised 46-inch specs. I measured mine and it was under 39 inches. It is suitable for wearing over a t-shirt, but not for wearing over a sweatshirt or coat. I'm 36 inches tall and customizing this backpack was not acceptable for me as it was supposed to be 46 inches. After contacting Camelbak they confirmed the problem…

Great bag! Requires only one modification to mount the magnet.

I'm a Hawaiian outrigger canoeist. I have found this item to be perfect for hydration while rowing as it keeps the mouthpiece close to my mouth allowing me to drink while continuing to row. However, on my second trip the magnet came loose and probably fell into the sea as I couldn't find it in the canoe when I was done. I would like to see some kind of modification to prevent this. I sent a letter to the company asking for a replacement and advice on how to prevent this. I'll see how they…

Pros
  • 1.5L CRUX TANK Higher flow rate for better hydration
Cons
  • boring packaging

Not very suitable for moisturizing purposes.

Easy to store. The problem for me is the clip that holds the drinking tube. Attempting to insert the tube into the belt clip while riding without looking is nearly impossible, especially with gloves on. This is compounded by the fact that if your shirt's fabric is loose, it can also hang over the attachment point, making reattachment even more difficult. Unfortunately, I first tried this pack during a race where quick access is important. I tried so hard to get it back on my belt that I gave up

Pros
  • DUAL RESERVOIR COMPRESSOR STRAPS Attaches reservoir to waist for stability and fit
Cons
  • Weight

Near Perfect Hip Pack

I bought this hip pack to use on shorter mountain bike rides so I don't always have to carry a large backpack. I wanted to stick with Camelbak as I have a few other Camelbak products. However, the idea that there will be interchangeable parts was a serious mistake on my part. I broke the cap of this bag when filling because there is no quick connection in the bladder. Several times I dropped it in the sink, filling my bladder, soaking the contents of the inside of the now opened package, and on

Pros
  • Made in the USA or Imported
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Good solution for hydration pack. Some settings are required by default.

Great solution for transferring fluid from the back (hot and sweaty) to the hips for better weight distribution. The standard configuration wasn't the best as it kinks the line and prevents good water flow due to the way the outlet is set up. I swapped the cord and magnet from the right side to the left side and the difference was huge. At maximum capacity, it holds about 2.5-3 full standard bottles of water. Adequate amount of water for most of my 1.5-2 hour rides (16-20 miles and about 2km…
