I was looking for a backpack with a 3 liter tank for hiking in Yosemite and after a long search I decided on this one. I was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this backpack was! Mesh lining on the back provides good ventilation. The water tank was located at the bottom of the pack, which helped with weight distribution. There was enough storage space for snacks, jackets, etc. and everything I need for hiking. There was no rubbing or discomfort from the straps. I have no complaints…

Very disappointed that my sundowner was damaged on arrival. The bladder seal was bent in two places causing it to slosh on me. The seal is not removable so I couldn't reset it and I've tried many things - it broke and that's it. I also noticed that the backpack's metal frame was particularly twisted to one side, and I'm curious if my replacement does the same. What's up with camelbak blisters lately? The only time I've successfully filled my bladder without leaking was the first time I emptied it. The gasket around the top of the screw is very finicky. I had two other people try sealing it and they had the same results. I couldn't fill it with more than one throw so it wouldn't leak.
