Convenient and good storage capacity

I LOVE this backpack. At first I was concerned that it has a strong magnet and warned against using it if you have electronic devices on your body such as pacemakers, heart monitors etc. I just received the heart monitor but the magnet is very easy to touch also remove then I can put it back on when I get the heart monitor back. I like that the stomach is in the lower back. It holds a lot for my dog and I for our daily hikes. It has multiple straps that you can attach hanging items to, like my…

Extremely comfortable backpack for day trips!

I was looking for a backpack with a 3 liter tank for hiking in Yosemite and after a long search I decided on this one. I was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this backpack was! Mesh lining on the back provides good ventilation. The water tank was located at the bottom of the pack, which helped with weight distribution. There was enough storage space for snacks, jackets, etc. and everything I need for hiking. There was no rubbing or discomfort from the straps. I have no complaints…

The waterproof housing is no longer available.

I've had this a long time. Traveled with him, walked with him, rode his bike with him. My main complaint is the size of the front pocket, which I like to put my phone, wallet and keys in - it's too small. Second, why oh why did the Camelback stop having a waterproof cover attached/included! So now I have to buy and wear a one size fits all waterproof case. Also, I love this brand and they last forever. I have never lost a buckle or belt. The zippers in this version are much better designed than

My backpack was damaged upon arrival.

Very disappointed that my sundowner was damaged on arrival. The bladder seal was bent in two places causing it to slosh on me. The seal is not removable so I couldn't reset it and I've tried many things - it broke and that's it. I also noticed that the backpack's metal frame was particularly twisted to one side, and I'm curious if my replacement does the same. It feels crooked and I worry that the weight will throw it off balance when fully loaded. Very disappointed with this first one and…

Five stars for the packaging, zero for the awful blister

What's up with camelbak blisters lately? The only time I've successfully filled my bladder without leaking was the first time I emptied it. The gasket around the top of the screw is very finicky. I had two other people try sealing it and they had the same results. I couldn't fill it with more than one throw so it wouldn't leak. I've read a number of online reviews of similar Camelbak cameras and a surprising number have had the same issue. Some people have said that they have to align the top…
