The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Before buying, I really doubted about the "fastest autofocus", at a wide angle it's okay, but I thought that it would be stupid at 600mm. I was wrong. The camera really focuses o-o-very quickly even at maximum zoom! And not only fast, but also accurate, there are practically no misses in focus. And in combination with continuous shooting 24 frames per second - it's just a reportage monster! 24(!) is like unglued video with a resolution of 20mp)) Here, in a relatively small box, a 600mm f4. This

    Pros
    • Super wide range of use - super versatile device. For its characteristics it is very compact. Great Zeiss lens. Sharpness, autofocus, photo and video quality. 600mm f/4. Price - I do not agree with those who speak about the inflated cost. With its capabilities and quality - the camera fully justifies its price.
    Cons
    • That's the only thing this camera can't do is shoot portraits with blurry backgrounds. But here it is clear that this is physically impossible. Although you can contrive and shoot with bokeh at 600mm.) I would advise you to shoot a portrait on it against some kind of uniform background, then everything is ok. Well, or you can shoot beautiful portraits in interior photo studios. When shooting macro, by the way, there is bokeh and it is beautiful) The only thing I can really complain about is the sound of zooming in the video.

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

Do you know how much a 600mm prime for a Canon full frame camera costs? - So, more than 1,000,000! And this is a "melon" half a meter long and weighing 6.5 kg along with a monopod, not counting the camera itself. And here are chic 24-600 mm., Weight 1.3 kg., But the crop factor is 2.7

    Pros
    • Convenient, versatile, advanced, all in one! But what definitely cannot be done with this camera is a highly artistic shot with a blurry background and beautiful bokeh at a medium focal length. It's all about a small matrix (although it is terribly technologically advanced and advanced), but, gentlemen, the Zoom is 24-600mm. - this is from "Wide" with macro photography to high-speed (I emphasize - high-speed!) telephoto lens. This is not a backpack for you with a full-frame camera and a line of glasses weighing 10-15 kg. For ordinary shooting on a walk, on a hike, on vacation - very good ! See photos (all processed in well-known editors)
    Cons
    • Weak battery. With active shooting with a motor lens, it quickly ends. But you can use a Power bank with a cable, like in a phone. or buy a spare native battery for 4000: (( It makes noise at ISO more than 800, unlike older models with a large matrix, for which ISO 2400 - 6400 is a working option.

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Impressions are ambiguous. Honestly. I am writing a review and trying to understand who wascomunted on when creating the camera. Let me explain - on the one hand, this is an ideal travel camera with acceptable image quality. Let not immediately, but with post-processing. But the result will not disappoint. It is not inferior incomnvenience to cameras with interchangeable lenses, and maybe it will give odds to some. The range of focal lengths will simply satisfy anyone, but if you calculate how…

    Pros
    • Hi all. The review will be supplemented, now the first impressions, as they say "out of the box", after a seven-hour walk around the zoo with a camera: 1. Despite several hours of walking with the camera, I can say that the camera, despite a little over a kilo, is very comfortable to use. Its solid volume is rather a plus, because. it is very comfortable to hold, plus the wide strap is incomparably more comfortable than from my Fujifilm X-T20 camera. 2. Zoom. This could be put boldly in the first place. I have not yet analyzed what focal lengths were the most popular for the shots taken, but the opportunity to get a close-up of flamingos or birds in aviaries, as well as a close-up of a giraffe's face - before that, I could only dream about this with my regular 18-55. 3. Image quality: after the first camera with APS-C, I was very worried about the amount paid, but when I displayed the image on a 4K TV, I was pleasantly surprised. Even the marabou's lashes came out crisp, not to mention the detail in feathers or animal fur. 4. Autonomy. Mindful of the declared 370 shots (in ideal conditions), I bought a second battery. But I never used it for 7 (! ) hours, although I also shot videos, in addition to photos. Now he shows a full discharge, but this is more than acceptable. 5. What I liked constructively: a folding screen (it’s convenient to take a picture above a crowd of tourists), customizable buttons (it got the functionality of a system camera), convenient control rings on the lens (the developers obviously decided to compete with more serious cameras), a lens hood in the kit (a trifle, but nice). 6. The camera can be charged directly from the power bank (having a battery of 10,000 milliamps, you get a huge autonomy). 7. Video recording in 4K. In general . you can list the pros for a long time, despite the fact that I have not yet delved into the fine settings. I will add later what should have been emphasized. Now to the cons
    Cons
    • 1. Price! I took it from my hands for 90.000. At prices from 100 to 129 for a camera from the store. For such an amount, you can consider a number of cameras with APS-C sensors and a pair of lenses) 2. Noises. The size of the matrix imposes restrictions and serious ones. You can't argue against the laws of physics, no matter what they write in advertising releases and "independent" reviews. Up to 400 ISO inclusive, you can safely shoot. If you want higher - get ready to mess with RAW files, and maybe photoshop. The small size of the matrix is \u200b\u200ba fee for the focal length of the lens . I will say this - an inch matrix - the lower threshold of image quality. "Competitors" with matrices 1/2.3 inches and focal length of the telescope, in fact, are not competitors. This is a calculation for the "wow" effect, which will quickly pass. It is clear that this is IMHO. 3. Not a minus, but I will add it here. Last night I went to Red Square and across the entire square I got a close-up photo of St. Basil's Cathedral, on which the brickwork is perfectly visible . from the 20th time. In low light, normal pictures can only be taken with a tripod, here the stabilizer is powerless. Well, or prohibitive ISO with noise . 4. To shoot 4K video, you need an expensive memory card - a minus, because it weighs down the budget. 5. Forget bokeh. I won’t say that the camera turns the background into a muddy mess, but you can’t count on highly artistic bokeh. I would like to find fault with something on the go, but I can’t yet.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

Mega zoom gives gigantic scope for. The picture quality is good. If you do not arrange pixel-by-pixel scrutiny and make a discount for the "all-in-one", then you get a great option. Recommended for landscapers, travelers, reporters, local media and anyone else who doesn't care about the lack of bokeh (background blur). And yes, with this camera you can really shoot the MOON))) The price is too high, to be honest. For 129, I definitely would not take it.

    Pros
    • 1. Very bright and sharp lens even wide open. Comparable to Zeiss for Sony E and Canon L. No rainbow on contrasting details. Not expected. Indicators 600mm F4.0 in general for prof. lenses. See how much televisions with the same characteristics cost for APS-C and FF. From 500 thousand to 1 million 2. The best functionality. The camera was ahead of its time and can do everything. For a photographer, there is certainly everything. I don’t even know what Sony will add to the next model. 3. AF is excellent. A very large variety of ways to focus, like for a separate lever on the body. 4. Recording 4K, s-log, 1000 fps, stub, touch screen, picking, zebra, microphone input, headphone input, power bank, proxy, etc. is a great reporting tool. For 4K and HD 100 mb/s you will need a good U3 class card, please note. 5. The camera is not stupid (like A7m2), the processor is enough. Turns on quickly, focuses quickly, shoots quickly. There are interesting modes that others have not seen. 6. Min. Dist. focusing 3 cm wide. The photos are reminiscent of laowa 15mm f/4 wide macro 1:1 7. Compact. I gave up APS-C and a bunch of lenses. Now I carry a small bag))
    Cons
    • 1. Noise. It is everywhere, even from ISO100, it is very felt after APS-C, not to mention FF. It does not bother me, the texture resembles a film. 2. Electronic zoom. You can get used to it, but its reliability and maintainability is questionable. Purely my phobia from childhood, when I dropped the Exilim Z60 and the lens stopped moving. 3. Lack of bokeh. At all. You will forget about airiness, romance, separation of plans, and so on. It can only be obtained at 600 mm and running away from the model by 50 meters)) it would be cool if Sony used STF technology (with two apertures). 4. The tripod hole is very close to the back of the camera. Due to the retractable heavy trunk-lens, inexpensive tripods are not able to hold it. Manfrotto is still nothing, but still a wild imbalance. Was it really difficult to make another one on the lens? A-la tripod foot or something else. 5. There is no separate battery charger. Charging through the camera is wildly inconvenient and not safe. The solution was found in the form of a Sony BC-VW1 charger from NEX for 600. The main thing is not to take the know-name Chinese, instead of three, there are two connectors. Those. The battery is not balanced and dies quickly. Cons for all Sony: 6. The AF backlight does not work (as with all Sony BCs) even with the top modern puff from Sony. Well, of course it's stupidity. Nothing to do with him. 7. Confusing menu - the same as all Sony. 8. Battery for 36 frames)) well, here you yourself know everything.

    Amazing Camera with Smart Features

This camera is truly amazing, the autofocus is lightning fast and the image stabilization is superb. The zoom is out of this world with crisp and clear shots, with the ability to shoot videos in 4k. The flip-out screen makes shooting from any angle a breeze. The only drawback is the price, but in the world of electronics, you get what you pay for!

    Pros
    • Excellent image quality and impressive zoom range with 24-600mm equivalent lens.
    Cons
    • Expensive compared to other advanced compact cameras.

    Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

Pros below: I use 4 months. Took for photography. I will compare with my old hyperzoom, with the smallest matrix. The image is good, less noise, soaps. The matrix is clearly inch. Of course, it can’t be compared with a full frame and a TV set for it, but I can’t carry 7 kg on myself. The video is good. Stabilization works, unlike my old zoom. The wind really makes a lot of noise in the microphones, even with the suppression turned on. Pleased with the automatic inclusion of the viewfinder.

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

I've been using it for a little over six months, 2-3 times a week. If I change for something, then for a new generation of the same camera. For reference: I used to shoot with Nikon, Canon, Panasonic. There were crops, and full-frame and video cameras. Pros: 1. Aperture at maximum zoom. There were no problems under any circumstances. There is always enough light at any focal length 2. Optical hyperzoom. Noises appear only when shooting objects at a distance of 2-3 km. Anything closer is a great

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

I will add about the quality of the pictures. This is great in-camera processing. Sony has worked hard on this. But at the same time, the colors are unnatural, visible excessive sharpness. It's just that the small sensor doesn't fully reveal a great lens. It makes no sense to advise - the price. The camera is designed entirely for travel, performances, matinees and nature photography - indoors it is rather weak. If you do not plan to shoot distant objects, this is 1100gr. weight

    Pros
    • light 25 cr. the lens is the only camera capable of producing decent shots at maximum zoom. Working ISO 3200, Sony's excellent video chip. Ret makes sense to shoot RAW. JPEG is very good. Aperture ring on the lens, Fast focus
    Cons
    • Price! Here she interrupts a lot of pluses, so the model will never become a hit. 100 oblique, not everyone is ready to lay out. Lens backlash (about 5mm) is a lot. After several days of inactivity, the "turtle" turning the camera on and off. It's like she hasn't woken up yet. Then everything comes back to normal. And so every time. Stupid menu, moving from model to model. Still a weak battery. I did not find a single rubber gasket either in the memory card compartment or in the battery compartment, but they write "waterproof". Weak touch controls.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

It is possible to get a great shot “not including the head”, but not always (at least read the tips of photographers). You can spend a week or two on studying and setting up, but it's worth it. After all, it is better to practice skills without fuss than to worry later. Forget about microSD, it's better to just buy a full SD at a high speed. Has pros: Very fast focus and quality. Super-zoom, which works great when shooting photos and videos. Excellent stabilization. Comfortable with a good…
