The battery did not fit in the headset. Shouldn't have messed with it, I threw it away and put in two rechargeable AAA batteries which seem to work fine.

I bought a battery of the same make and model to replace a battery that has been in my wireless headphones for years. Although the battery should have been the same, it didn't fit. There was no separation along the edge like the original. I had to return it.

I tried another brand that said they fit but they didn't. They fit, but you have to wiggle the positive end to get it in contact. I have Sony TMR-RF970R headphones and for some reason these headphones have plastic notches that prevent batteries with wider positive contacts from entering. I thought about getting needle nose pliers and cutting out the grooves, but this battery fit.

I used this battery to replace the original Sony Wi-Fi headsets in a pair. The battery has a guarantee of 12 months. After six months my headphones stopped working, the obvious cause was the battery. I contacted Henzens and they quickly sent me replacement batteries. With new batteries I found that the headsets still didn't work. I tried changing the sound settings on my TV but to no avail.
