Great product: Brake tool

I used it the same day I received it and had no trouble removing the rusty rear drum from my 1973 Karmann Ghia. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Only available in white

Very poor quality of tools and equipment

The carving was so bad that the tool was unusable. Burrs and defects are visible on the threaded bolt. It only went in 1-1/2 inches before fully clamping.

Pros
  • Many will do it
Cons
  • This makes me angry

The threads are not trimmed properly.

The thread of the screw or rod was not cut correctly. I used it with an impact wrench and anti-seize lube because I had to finish the job. Works but should be better.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works very well, just be patient and let short steps do its job.

When removing the rear rotors from my F150, the stem bent slightly with the arms fully extended. This jammed the drive pin, but the percussion gun solved that problem. Before starting, I carefully greased the threads with grease. I will never saw off rotors or hammer with this tool ever again! Don't rush your work.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons

Pulls jammed drums with no problem

Nobody gives me these for any reason so I decided to buy them. It took a second to get the center screw to the correct length, although easy to do, the levers slide open and tighten the center screw. Don't forget to wear the damn strap. Give it 5 minutes of torque through the 1" head and turn it off. I'm very happy I ended up buying it, 100%.

Pros
  • Waiting for

Worked great on 2009 F150 wheels

Worked great on 2009 F150 front wheels. The rotors were rusted and the hammer blows didn't loosen them. This puller was adjusted and tightened by hand using a ratchet. Alternately hit the back of the rotor with a hammer, further tighten the threaded rod and loosen the rotor. No need to rush and let the tension sink in, freeing the rotor in about 10 minutes. No impact wrench or sling required. Recommend this tool for all brake rotor work. The rotors of the F150 are 13 inches in diameter and fit…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
