Exactly what I was hoping for

Just got out for the first time last weekend. All winter I've been looking for a car camping kitchen that is simple and easy to set up. That hits the bull's eye. I try to make it as easy as possible, throw a few things in the car and go, and organizing the kitchen ahead of time is the key to success. It is easy to move and also serves as a small table for cooking. Feet don't slide in and out as easily, but it doesn't matter, and maybe in time they will. Finally, if you pack it so that the…

Camp organization just got easier.

Great item, used twice camping and really life saver in organizing and storing camping gear. As others have said, the overall size is large and takes up a lot of space when your car is camping, but the individual compartments hold a lot of gear. I would like the legs to be stronger or made out of larger, more durable metal. Nothing happened to them, but I see that they may be damaged or bent. As most of our campsites have a camping table, I usually just put the whole unit on the table and don't

Almost perfect.: Camping

Well we LOVE this item. He keeps all of our belongings organized and ready to go. We go about once a month so it's easy to throw everything in the car (plus a few other things) and set up camp. It currently includes our Everest Stove, REI 14" Skillet, IKEA Collapsible Teflon Grill Pan, Collapsible Strainer, Collapsible Bowl, Set of 4 Enamel Cloths, 2 liter and 1.25 liter -Pots and all kitchen utensils. Accessories and kitchen utensils that we need. The only problem I have is the legs. you suck…

Great Camping Kitchen - Camping & Hiking

I have this camping kitchen to store my kitchen utensils when car camping. Assembly was fairly easy; There are written instructions on one side of the paper and photos on the other, so look at both sides! Four organizer pockets are large enough for most camp kitchen needs. The metal plate folds neatly into a back pocket and is large enough and a comfortable height for use with a propane stove. I managed to fit a full set of Coleman enamelware and a collapsible water jug into one bag. In another

  • Lots of Stuff

Read the instructions first! Absolutely a MUST!

Good good I got it together. The bad thing is that I didn't read the instructions at first and got started at dusk. Catastrophe. Nothing worked and I struggled. Let's get to the morning. AFTER reading the instructions I took it all apart and took it to my porch and reassembled it in the shade and fan upstairs! I live in Florida so I sweated a lot trying to get this right. It is important. Pro's --- looks nice, very light, the canvas or whatever it is looks thick and the stitching seems well…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Boring packaging

A few years ago I started hiking again. Packing and unpacking my camp kitchen for a group road trip was a lot of work and stress. Amazing because it fits my entire camp kitchen in here and it fits in my suitcase when I put my feet up and if I need space I can take it apart and it's big and soft and packable. Dividers open to accommodate other inserts. . I took out the two bags below and used a flat black bus tub with a restaurant lid to set up my two-burner stovetop with a couple of propane…

3rd Time Build is NOT cute

I was really excited to get this. I love to cook and I have so many camping supplies it's impractical to keep them in boxes. I thought how great it would be if I could have a portable item with separate compartments for different things like all the dishes, all the bowls, all the cleaning supplies, etc. Well, the product is pretty high quality/well made, although I have one thing to say about it below. The main problem: it is difficult to assemble, and the instructions do not help. I spent a…

Camping hit

I WILL BUY THIS AGAIN SEPTEMBER 2013 UPDATE: I made a 'contact' on the Camp Chef website about the lack of versatility of the telescopic legs (they only have two tiers) and I'm actually really getting one Email that they would forward my inquiries to the engineers. Just take a look. I would still buy this. That is amazing. UPDATE AUGUST 2013: Took this to Yellowstone National Park. Worked fantastic. Aside from that, in YNP you have to "clean everything" when you're not in camp to keep the bears

One of the best devices we've bought - we highly recommend it!

My husband and I sleep in almost every weekend and I needed a way to have everything I needed for cooking and cleaning organized and ready to use as soon as we arrived. It has everything we need and more. Inside a container is our Biolith with a coffee pot, two gallons of pellets, a chopstick grinder, a lighter, lighters, three pairs of gloves, and a rolled up sink. a quart, 2-liter pot and a 12-inch skillet with two plates and two bowls in a smaller pot, and two mugs and a 1.1-liter pot with a
