Pros: Inexpensive Cons: The compass can't find a crouch, let alone north or south. That does not work. No azimuth. It's difficult to find a satellite if you don't have an azimuth to work with. Made in the country where almost everything we buy is made and NOT made in the USA. Best advice: download a compass and bearing app for your smartphone before attempting to use this 'satellite finder'.

This satellite signal finder was quite difficult to use, the instructions were written by someone who clearly doesn't speak English as their main language and I couldn't get it to work according to the parameters he prescribed. Instructions are useless. I repeat - absolutely useless. You can't define anything with this device other than spending hours on the roof moving back and forth between three different settings that have different levels built into them. You can reduce it to zero as the useless guide says, but heck. He never found anything even though I nailed the satellite in azimuth, tilt and elevation. When I received it I tried it on my direct TV on a platter. Connected to the LNB on one side and to the receiver on the other side. I wanted to further tune the dish for the best signal.
