🐶 Premium Alkaline Holistic Dog Food: Canine Caviar's Limited Ingredient Formula Review

My dog has colitis and chronic diarrhea. I started feeding her this and the diarrhea stopped, she still doesn't feel very well but the diarrhea is gone.

My cousin recommended Canine Caviar dry dog food for dogs 4+ years ago after I did mine first Shih Tzu had. Both of my shih tzu loved it, their fur was so smooth. Last year when I got my third Shih Tzu, the breeder suggested another brand that I think my dogs are allergic to. Now back to Canine Caviar.

My dog seems to love this food. I was skeptical about switching brands without lowering the dose, but that wasn't a problem at all. I have also found that my puppy now naturally wants to eat twice a day as recommended on the bag, whereas before he would only eat when I was around. At the same time, the amount of nutrition required is so much less than other brands that I thought I was malnourished. Not the case at all! His energy is great and he seems a lot happier!

Update: Still going strong after two years. Now this is the only food I feed my dogs and the younger ones have even lost weight on this food. I now use lamb stew instead of chicken (the world's most perfect chihuahua is allergic to chicken) to make broth. He still eats and loves. (Other dogs are dachshunds and will eat almost anything, so they're not a good indicator of good dog food.)
