Bought for my Yorkie's health because I cook for him. they are hard and tight. After soaking, they're so chewy you can't cut the puree. I bought it for conviction, but quickly realized that it is not comfortable at all! I would not buy again.

I put the food in a glass bowl with water and rehydrated it. When I removed the lid, the garlic smell was very strong. I just used a teaspoon and put it to one side and mixed in other veggies with a piece. My dog ran excitedly towards the plate. She sniffed and left. She came back a few hours later and ate everything but the caviar in the corner.

Our little Doxy loves it. We feed him 1/4 cup at dinner and he swallows it all. He eats raw, so vegetables are added to his diet. We use a plastic measuring spoon, fill it with hot water and let it sit for 5 minutes before adding it to the bowl. He really loves this stuff and we feel good about feeding it to him. We worry a lot about the ingredients in dog food these days, but we feel a lot safer with this product.
