That's great. I have a Canon SL1

This thing is amazing. I have a Canon SL1 and bought it for fun. It's a lot smaller, especially with a 22mm lens. The images are the same if not better than my SL1. The best camera I've ever bought.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Appearance

I'm very happy with the overall handling of the camera

Using it as a rear camera for my 5D Mark II. This made it much harder to feel the need to pull out a full size DSLR. While it's not as fast or as high resolution, I'm very happy with the overall performance of the camera. I actually bought the eos M3 and hated it. If you can still find one for a reasonable price, highly recommend.

  • A dream come true

Get your feet wet!: Camera & Photo

This is my first camera body in the digital age. Years ago I had a good 35mm film camera, was an avid hobbyist, and had several good, sharp lenses to choose from. To be honest I didn't know where to jump and get my feet wet. This camera body attracted me and convinced me! I'm sure I'm glad it happened! I've never been so happy with a purchase. I already had a good flash that worked great with it, but the M2 works so well with available light that I rarely use it. I'm not an expert but I can…

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Bad Instructions

Where are my socks? WHERE'S MY SOCKS?!?!

I needed a second camera to take pictures and it blew my socks off, now search parties are looking for my socks. While the autofocus is odd, the EF to EOS M-mount adapter has shrunk my travel kit from an m4/3s with a couple of touring lenses to a full dSLR and lenses for work; to dSLR only with lenses and M2 plus adapter. While I'll admit that I bought the EOS-M kit lens because it was bloody cheap ($60 on ebay!), why not? FWIW has replaced a 6 year old first gen 7D as my second body in some…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

I'm glad I can use my old manual focus lenses with me.

I bought the M2 because I already have the D20 and EF lenses. I knew the first mirrorless camera, the M, had slow focus issues, so I waited and bought the M2. I also bought it for the ability to buy adapters so I can use my Leica and Exakta lenses with the M2. This is not possible with a standard Canon DSLR as the distance between the back of the lens element and the film or sensor mount on DSLRs (like my D20) is too long. I'm happy that I can use my old manual focus lenses with the M2, but I'm

Pros
