This paper is tough. I've always preferred thicker paper, but bought this after testing all the Bristol smooth papers I could find in the US (I'm from the UK and use different brands of paper). It holds the ink damn well once it's cured. It retains the brightness of my Copic markers and doesn't take up too much ink like the thicker paper. The only downside is that like most smooth papers, the fineliners take about a minute to dry completely, so be careful with the working direction.

You get used to paper in a quarter of a second and that's it! I used Copic markers for the main character and watercolors for the background! The great thing about paper is that it picks up copics (no bleed) so while you have to use multiple layers it gives you the ability to blend better. I also used this paper to print my lines on a Canon large format printer. Unfortunately I'm one of those people who also had my own sketch pad and the glue completely peeled off it. a real drawing pad, so now it's just "loose" paper. I'm a bit annoyed as I was going to use it as an art book for sketching and as it's a bit more expensive than some brands it's a bit annoying and I can see from "recent" reviews that this is obviously with more than one person .
