This is a good book but the description says it's 8.5 x 11 inches which my son needed for his high school art class . However, as noted in another review, it was only 8.5 x 10 inches when it arrived and was marked 8.5 x 10 on the sketchbook cover. My son couldn't use it for his classes. Just keep in mind that it is actually smaller than what is shown in the description and in the picture.

The smoothness and density of this paper is perfect for true art. There were no smudges of dark material on the paper, no blemishes or bumps on the pages that would ruin a project even with light pressure. After a few random sketchbooks from local shops that sold horribly poor quality paper, this was a welcome relief. First you had to use Canson! Plus the size is great for a standard printer!

Not a bad price. The only issues I had with it were: 1) The bottom right corner was slightly curled (cover and pages), but I'm sure not everyone has that. 2) The page size is 8.5"X10" not 8.5"X11" as the description says, so it's a little smaller than plain paper. The paper is slightly thicker than printer paper and can be drawn on with pencil and ink. I would recommend this for drawing and doing loose sketches or just for drawing practice but not for creating high quality end products.
