Cape Cod Horsehair Detail Brush Review

This brush loses its shape over time, but gets the job done without being too rough or scratchy. I use it on silverware over the sink and wipe down the sink with a paper towel before running the water to keep hair out of the drain. I am completely satisfied and would buy again. I'm not sure if the Hagerty brand has hair or not, but I think one is only 25% horsehair and this one is 100%.

Very amazing brush for details on your silver. Yes, just gently smear those pesky patterns onto your silver that always retain some cream no matter how carefully you apply them. It's also a great time saver. It used to be impossible for me to throw a big dinner party with absolutely perfect details. if small things are important to you, then this is your brush.

I probably would have given 4 stars but the price was a little higher when I bought it compared to other items that claim the same. I've never used a brush as a wax applicator or buffer so it might be me, but I didn't like how it worked either. It was nice to get into the "big" corners, but it was too big to hit the smaller areas, defeating my purpose. I found it better than a regular dust brush for my rifles and knives, but it ended up being second fiddler.
