That was good. - Breeding tank

Smaller than expected. Not easy to clean if you leave it in the tank for too long. Suction power was ok but could be better.

Be careful because small fry can run away!

Suction works well, product looks strong BUT juveniles can run away. In addition to the slots, there is a hole in the bottom of the box (in the middle) through which the juvenile fish can easily get out. I lost several of my baby guppies as a result. I covered the box with a thin stocking and it helped ...

Great suction but ripped in a few spots after first use on 3 guppy babies

This item does what it's designed to do and sticks well to the aquarium glass. I'm a little confused as to how it ripped as shown in the photo. I understand that this is plastic, but I handled it very carefully and for some reason cracks appeared after 1 use.

Quite Small: Fish & Aquatic Animals

I should have read the dimensions on this one. I use it on guppy babies, the babies can come back through the gaps and then be eaten before they give birth. It's smaller than what I had before but the kids can't get out so you'll be fine after you take mom out. All you have to do is remove the lid from the aquarium and then the lid from the fish box so they can be fed. Holds very tight to the tank. The slots on the top cover won't allow you to feed them, so you'll have to remove them every…

Make sure you order the correct size.

Good trap. There are a few things to consider. The image on the packaging is used for all 3 sizes. So don't judge the size by the picture. Second, more than 2 inches in length is only used as a space for the suction cup. So the box is smaller than you might think just by looking at the metrics. Medium is the smallest size you can use for fish other than the small guppy. After all, it's only held to the tank by suction cups. Works well but over time they wear out and need to be replaced. Really a decent size!

I bought this for guppy brood that were getting too big for the petite little parent box I already had but not yet big enough to move into a 6 gallon tank that I created to to build a tank. (If you put them in too big a tank too soon, I've found that they'll expend a lot of their energy growing, foraging, exploring, etc.). This box gave them twice as much space as the old one, if not more. Very easy to clean. As with most similar boxes with slits on the sides, I don't think they provide enough…
