Classic Short Sleeve Leotard for Big Girls by Capezio Review

Quality swimsuit, we ordered a medium size and it fits my daughter well with a little more room to grow. She is a size 6/6X.

It's a bit tight, she probably won't be able to wear it when she's having a growth spurt. It's between 2T and 3T, I bought the size they suggested. It's cute and perfect for her first dance class.

I'm 5ft 7in, 145lbs (and an adult) and I bought the largest size for a girl in this swimsuit and it fits and fits perfectly. Not so tight that it cuts off all circulation. But this perfect spot is right in front 😉 It's great for my figure skating programs.

These lions are very cute. They have a dense material and a comfortable lining. My teenager is comfortable in this Capezio Leo, unlike the cheaper version which is thin and silky.

The shoots are small and short. I ordered my daughter's regular and leo size and it was too short in the upper body. Also arrived with light markings all over the body. Maybe dirt? returned

We were in a hurry to find one at the last minute. It came in a day and works fine. A little cramped in the shoulders to get up when getting dressed. I want the neckline to be slightly stretched to make it easier. But overall not disappointed. 😊

This swimsuit is more like a swimwear material, 90% Polyester/10% Spandex and 90% Nylon/10% Spandex, the crotch is not even cotton.

We needed a plain leo with sleeves and it was a good price from a well known brand. Unfortunately it is quite scratchy and not my daughter's favorite. However, we require it to comply with the dress code, so we will keep it.

When the package arrived I was expecting a bird smell as this type of material usually has an odor. There was no. The fabric stretched well, covered everything, was dense and of good quality. It erases perfectly if you follow the instructions and doesn't restrict the dancer's movement. Will buy again if a larger size is needed.

I have an average height 3 year old and he was too small for the length of his torso. Do not order 2 to 4 if your child is taller than 36 inches.

You work very little! My 7 year old daughter is slim, 50 pounds. With an average height and size 6-8, she was tense. Ordered 8-10 and it fits her well with little growing room. She usually wears 7/8 in streetwear and a 6X swimsuit.

Great quality and fit. My 3 year old is very tight in his size but at this price we are keeping him and will be buying the next size up. She is thin but tall.

There is no way to find the right size. I measured my 9 year old daughter to make sure I bought the right one. I even ordered as most dancewear runs small. When she tried it on, the sleeves cut into her arms and it pulled up on her very badly. I returned it.

This is an excellent swimsuit in terms of quality and thickness. But it was very small for my average sized 3 year old. She complains that the seams on the neck and sleeves "itch" and doesn't want to wear them for very long. I would buy it again but I need a size up.

The fit was very odd, too roomy compared to another Capezio leotard I bought at a dance store. There is also no Capezio tag on the swimsuit.

I also read a lot of reviews and was concerned about what size to order for my petite 2.5 year old girl. I have absolutely no dance experience so wasn't sure if leotards would naturally run small etc. I chose 2-4T for the leotard. I also ordered a small Capezio Tactel zip skirt. The swimsuit fit well. For some reason I was expecting more from 'shiny'/nylon/spandex (typical body material) but it's a very soft one , good weight stretchy cotton material that is not too hot for a spring/summer dance but not see through at all, heavy enough to look like it will hold up well to washing and I'm not worried about it being addictive becomes. The comfortable material is especially good for a preschooler who is taking their first dance class / not used to wearing dance costumes / "uniform" clothes etc.
