    Sizing REQUIRED

    After reading a few other reviews (thanks mom for taking the time to write them), I decided to increase the size by 1 1/2 as suggested. So thankful I did. My daughter is a size 8 so I bought a size 9 1/2 and she only has about a thumb left for her size. She danced with all her heart and they stayed the whole time. The small adjustable loop does not stay tied as stated in the reviews. Hoping to find a trick. The double knot doesn't help. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to take 1 1/2 sizes…

    Shoes only worn 6 times and torn

    The Capezio shoes are great but the pair we bought for our 3 year old dancer fell apart due to a loosely stitched sole. They got a little dirty when she dressed them from the dance studio for her first grade because her parents wouldn't let her in and we didn't think to leave her shoes. However, they shouldn't diverge along the seam, which became apparent after sixth grade, meaning they weren't sewn enough to begin with.     Runs one size smaller

    Received this yesterday. They are a size too small for my child's foot, or at least I think they are just a size too small. We couldn't even set foot on it. She has a very narrow foot and these were too tight for her foot. They seem to be of good quality. There were traces of glue on the inside of the upper of the shoe. The laces appear to be very long.

    The best ballet shoes for little ones.

    I love that I can buy Capezio shoes and get them quickly here on Ebay. A few weeks before the show my daughter needed a size up. Great! Also, ballet flats tend to be very different sizes from street shoes, but these shoes are the same size as my daughter's sneakers and fit her perfectly. Save yourself the hassle of tracing and trying (one-piece leather soles are exactly what you'd expect from kids' ballerinas).

    Suitable for street size

    If you buy your child's outdoor shoe size slightly larger to allow room to grow and they still have room to grow, order an outdoor shoe size. If your child is ready to go up a size, go up half a size from their current size. I ordered half a size smaller based on some reviews and ended up going back for my child's current street shoe size. Current street shoe size: sneakers in toddler size 9.

    Inappropriate size!

    What an absolute joke trying to figure out what size to order for your child. Some reviews say to order a normal size, some say run big, some say run small, some say run big. My daughter wears a size 13-1 so I ordered her a size 1 and it is ridiculously smaller than her same size shoes. Why is Capezio finding it so difficult to just make them to fit the regular shoe sizes we all buy for our kids?     Arrived soiled with blood/faeces/syrup?

    When I took them out of the box they had a few spots that looked like dried blood, diarrhea, or some kind of syrup. There are two spots on the outside of the shoe and then it looks like there are leaks under the insole as well. I tried to contact the seller but couldn't find a way to do so.

    TOO SMALL: my rating

    I find it pretty crappy, the sizing says they fit US when you need to order 2 sizes up. My child is real size 10 and we couldn't fit the slippers on half of her foot. So I have to pay $7 for return shipping. I think they should at least state what everyone says in the reviews. Order 2 sizes larger.

    Dimensions! My opinion is good for me

    These shoes are of excellent quality. I took the advice of the reviews and increased the size by 1.5 sizes. My little one is a size 5. I ordered her a 6.5 and they fit great with little room to grow.

    DO NOT go up in size like the other reviews mentioned. My daughter wears number 12 shoes so I followed the advice of other reviews and got 1 and they are HUGE. I would order a normal size.

    Ideal for beginner ballerinas

    I did a lot of research and this capezio is the best fit for my aspiring dancer. And the quality of the leather is excellent. I think the price is better than the quality. I like them very much and so does my daughter. You are so comfortable.

    I read many reviews saying to order 1 or 1.5 sizes bigger than the shoe size but that was not the case at all and I ended up with a shoe that turned out to be too big for me . I would take the normal size.

    I have a 9 year old ballerina and she loves these shoes! It fits perfectly. She said that you can actually see yourself "pointing" with your toe. She loves her new ballet flats.

    Perfect ballerinas - small sizes!

    I bought these shoes for my daughters for their first ballet class. She is 3 years old and usually wears size 7 or 8 shoes. I bought them at 9 after reading the reviews. They are ideal with little space to grow. Hopefully they will last 6 months or so. Great quality, I will buy this brand again.
