Size Up 1.5-2 is the best in my rating

My baby is usually a size 4 (she has small but wide feet). I ordered a size 6 regular as it was the smallest size I could get and they fit perfectly! Be sure to increase the size!

Pros
  • Great color, great fit, durable!
Cons
  • I don't understand. These are clearly someone's old worn out ballet flats that have been stuffed into a box. What the hell??

Order half a size larger!

They are small for children. My 2 year old now only wears a size 7 from brands like Zara and a size 6 from Converse, but the size 7 is too tight for her and her toes are turning red! Forget tights with them. I ended up trading for a half size larger (7.5) and already have a size 8 in my shopping cart ready to go when it outgrows in about a month.

Pros
  • The lightweight and compact design makes it easy to store and transport.
Cons
  • Not strong enough for frequent use

Ballet flats are back

The return did not fit. I had to go to the hardware store and buy special shoes. The child has a unique foot fit. The shoes looked good, but they didn't support the baby's feet. Delivery was on time.

Pros
  • Provides adequate arch support and promotes proper alignment.
Cons
  • Slips off the heel easily

Increase of 1.5: my rating

These shoes are great as expected. My 3 year old daughter fits perfectly in a size 8 toddler shoes and I ordered a size 9 and 9.5 for her to try on. The nines were fine now, but she didn't like that they were tight. Size 9.5 leaves some room to grow but it doesn't dangle and she was much happier.

Pros
  • A trusted brand with a long history of quality dancewear.
Cons
  • Difficult to clean and maintain

Small - my new review

In the process of returning to a larger size. I love the quality of these ballet flats. I also brought some tap dancers from this company and my daughter loves them.

Pros
  • They just arrived today but appear to be well made. My daughter wears toddler 7.5. I ordered 8.5 and they fit perfectly.
Cons
  • running xml

2x the size I think.

Ordered Capezios in size 13.5 (my child's shoe size) and they were very narrow and narrow. Went to a Capesio seller who measured my child's foot and explained that the Capesios are very small. Size up to 2.5.

Pros
  • Ideal for ballet, dance or other physical exercise.
Cons
  • Falling apart after a few wears

BABY SIZES TOO SMALL!

BABY SIZES 3 sizes smaller! To say they were too small is an understatement. I've attached a photo showing the Capezio (smallest), size 6T on the left, the competitor's average 5T (which fits perfectly) and the sneaker pictured is a size 6T Stride-Rite. I was shocked when I opened the box and thought I had accidentally ordered doll shoes. We drove five hours to try it on in person and I had to order a size 7.5 or 8 for the grow room. I also did some research and the catalog and company website…

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain, making it a practical and convenient choice.
Cons
  • Shoes don't stay in place while dancing

Lucen muy pequeños is the best in my rating

Cuando los vi, mi impresión fue que ne le iban a quedar, u cuando ce los puse, le quedan perfectos, cabe mencionar que es la talla de zapatos que le compro. Asi Que estoy satisfecha. 🙂

Pros
  • We love Capiso but the little one needs replacing
Cons
  • The quality is good but they sent us the wrong size. So of course it's a bit frustrating when you're pressed for time.

Means small are the best in my rating

I'm not sure if I should have known ballet flats run small or if they just run small. I'm just guessing, but they're about 2 sizes smaller than normal shoe size. Hope this helps someone.

Pros
  • My granddaughter had no complaints so I assume she was very happy with this pair.
Cons
  • The strap broke after wearing it twice. Less than an hour each time

Closer to actual shoe size than most flat shoes.

We just ordered another famous ballet shoe size 9.5C in August when my daughter was wearing size 8 shoes. Well I thought I was ok judging by the fit of the ballet slippers last year but my daughter's foot was growing fast and by a month and a half they were already small (she's wearing a size 9 shoe now). Needing a new pair of ballet flats and not being able to walk to the ballet store, I ordered this pair online (I already wear tap shoes from this brand). I ordered a size 10.5 to be on the…

Size Rating

I don't write many reviews, but as a mother of two I really appreciate it when other consumers take the time to share their feedback, especially on sizing. So I will start doing my part to help others too! These ballerinas are great. Remember that "pink" is actually "ballet pink" or also known as nude. My 2 year old wears size 6 toddler shoes. He will soon be approaching 6.5 over the next month. So I ordered 7.5 in these apartments. Fits perfectly! I'm glad I increased the size by 1.5 and not…

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Don't follow the Capezio size chart!

I am very angry now! On Friday I found out that my 3 year old daughter is on the waiting list for ballet and tap classes starting tomorrow. I ordered them on Friday using Capezio's size chart. My daughter wears an 8 US and the chart says to order a 7. OK, the diagram is WRONG. These shoes are NOT equal to 8 US. You are too small! I should have ordered 8! I'm so pissed. I have no way of getting another order for your lesson. I'm having trouble figuring out where to go locally to get what I need…

Pros
  • shoes
Cons
  • you could choose a newer model
