Comfortably Classic: Capezio Girls' Studio Basic Tight for the Perfect Dance Attire Review

We have five dancers in our family and there are very few brands of tights that we buy as some just don't stretch as well as others, some have an uncomfortable waistband, others tear/work easily , and some are very small. However, this is one of the brands that we WILL buy because we have no issues with the above. The size is exactly according to the size chart, good quality, they stand up to many socks and washes and are comfortable. Delivery and packaging were perfect. Thanks very much!

F Based on the size and weight size chart, we ordered the little one. My daughter is very petite, 5 years old (wears a 4T) and these tights were very tight on her thighs and especially the waist. The seam of the elastic waistband was sewn to form a hard, thick edge that digged into her back, causing discomfort and pain when trying on. I recently bought a set of six "pink ballet tights" from another unknown brand for $13 just to see if we didn't overpay for these Capezeio tights. Oh God. Let's just say they're worth every penny! Right colour, right thickness, great fit and amazingly durable. We only have to buy one pair a year unless something tragic happens (fall on concrete, spilled liquid, etc.). I love Capezio products. Most of the Capezio tights I've bought have endured many performances and abuse, especially in competition. I can say that they are of good quality but they work very little. My daughter, if I was my height and weight, would be in the upper limit of the medium/small size, so we went for the medium size. According to ht/wt my girlfriend is in the middle of the L size line but she can only get them to the top of her thigh. The size chart differs by at least one size. (Why age? There's no good reason for that.) Note: If you're downgrading to women's sizes, this size chart is also incorrect.
