Capresso Stainless and Black ☕ 12-Cup Coffee Maker, Glass Carafe 416.05 Review

This is not my first capresso pot. The latter served for many years and was used every day. I am satisfied with both the appearance and the quality of the coffee brewing. Wonderful purchase. I will always use this brand.

Never heard of this brand but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Very happy with this coffee maker. Attractive and clean lines/appearance. But what I like most is the opportunity to get in the mood for a "strong” drink. In addition, the carafe is drip-free. Satisfied!

The cap that secures the coffee pot has become detached from the bottom of the coffee grounds container and cannot be used. You could not remove the coffee pot while the coffee was brewing because the cork impedes the flow when the coffee pot is removed from the base.

I have had a Capresso coffee maker (2nd photo) for many years which I was happy with so I bought another cup for 12. New is ok/ok but it is not real mug 12. Why? I feel cheated". This new 12 cup capresso coffee maker is not a true 12 cup coffee maker. Make it smaller or smaller (like everything else these days). Extremely difficult to read the water level gauge as the frosted white glass tube and spirit levels are white - not enough contrast to be easily seen. Also, once the brewing process begins, the clock only flashes blue for a minute (unlike the product photo), making the black numbers on a dark background difficult to see. This coffee maker is an excellent bargain. I was just looking for a programmable maker so I can set it to turn on automatically in the morning before I get up. While it takes a while to make a full pot, in my case that's actually moot because I program it to be fully done when my alarm goes off.
