Good tool for a short time

I really liked this tool. Very easy to use and reliable. The only problem is that it doesn't last as long as I would like. I've had it for 3 years and just broke. I didn't know until I double checked and noticed it wasn't properly tightened. I keep my important tools clean and send them to accuracy when needed. I don't know what to buy next.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Everything OK

Value for money: power tools and hand tools

For accurate and stable tightening of small fasteners, this is a good deal. It's about half the price of digital torque screwdrivers and fits small fasteners like 4-40 etc. We've been using it for a few months and have no real complaints. The dial settings are easy to see and fine-tune. The "click" feeling when you hit the right torque is constant and precise.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Empty

Garbage Torque Gauge

Do not buy if you are interested in accuracy or precision. The attached images are data taken from the 7i Professional Force/Torque Indicator. This was done for testing before use. I bought 6 of these and they all have the same problems. When you set a torque value, the average actual torque command is accurate to +/- 0.5 in-lb, and that average is accurate to 0.25 in-lb StDev.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Very good tool for fine work

This is a very good tool and should be worth the price. You get what you pay for and quality tools will last a lifetime. It takes some time to get used to the action once you reach the set torque. It doesn't work like most torque wrenches where you feel a pause and hear a beep. It cranks the setting and stops tightening which is actually better than how other torque wrenches work, they keep tightening. It will not. Once or twice you get used to it. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Protection

The torque capabilities of this tool are as good as advertised

UPDATE: This tool is perfect! The problem with the bits in my previous review is solved. It turns out that all you have to do is push the bit all the way in and it stays firmly in place! The 5 stars are absolutely deserved! This was user error, there are no bugs in this tool. So far, the torque capabilities for this tool are as good as advertised. The processing quality is very good. The handle is nice and thick, which allows you to hold the grip tightly. My only issue with this tool is that…

Good tool for electrical and mechanical work

Easy to set up, easy to use. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and it's a very good tool. It comes with a calibration certificate. I don't know how much it will be for recalibration but in the future I will update. It has a good torque range with fine adjustment. I would suggest buying a bracket that comes in from the back (T-bar) if you need to tighten at higher levels of adjustment. This greatly simplifies the work. This tool will do almost all residential electrical work. What it

Good set, seems pretty accurate for the money

Let me start by saying that I have no way of calibrating the accuracy of this instrument. I just have to take it at face value, that's exactly what they say. However, it seems accurate enough and it came with a small certificate. I think if you use it to work with guns or something like that would be great. For my purposes I would like it to be a bit lower in the torque range but I also needed some other applications that are a bit higher so I might have to own two of these in different ranges…

  • Easy to use
