This is actually a first step product that comes with separate powder. Two tier system. Spray on the spot, sprinkle powder on the spot, wait 5 minutes and then use the brush on the spot. Soak up the powder and you're done. Carpets shouldn't be that wet. Caution, test the area first to make sure it is colourfast. Especially good for light carpets.

My neighbor used it and her light colored carpets looked so good I tried the mist and powder duo and loved the result. It removes stains instead of dispersing them like liquid cleaners. This is especially important when removing cat urine stains. Even better than carpet, I used it on the armrests of my white sofas and it made them whiter than the professional steam cleaner I tried first! I will definitely stock this item!

Easy and fun (?) to use! I was hoping for a super clean scent, but it's not much of a scent. It looks like it's working, but how do you actually know if you don't have a microscope to see if the microbes have died? But definitely the reassurance that they may have and your item MUST be at least cleaner than it was before.
