Car Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote Fits 2003-2010 Ford Expedition / 2008-2010 Lincoln Navigator (CWTWB1U551) Review

I bought this to have a replacement tag for my 2007 Lincoln Navigator. It arrived quickly and is easy to program, but the tailgate release button doesn't work. Luckily I don't use this feature often, so I can just go to the back and open it manually. I leave the fob because the lock and unlock functions work, but if anyone relies on all the buttons working they might get Dud like me.

When I programmed the remote as instructed in the manual, all the lock, unlock and alarm buttons worked. The tailgate didn't work with the new remote (it still worked with my original Ford remote). I returned it (the seller was quick to send another remote) but the second worked the same as the first; no sunroof function. Therefore, I cannot recommend this remote control for the 2008 Expedition.

Thanks to Revain, the product arrived on time! The consoles were easy to program and they [partially] started working right away. The remote controls are almost fully functional, the Lifegate button does nothing. Unlock, lock, panic and glass work and it's great! However, this item does not work as advertised and is really disappointing. I will deprogram these remotes and order another brand.

Bought for the 2007 Ford Expedition. I programmed it using the instructions in the Ford owner's manual. As with some other reviews, none of the remotes control the tailgate. All other buttons work perfectly. At the moment I'm giving this product one star, but I'll update it later if I find a solution. Update 09/12/18: The tailgate still cannot be opened with the remote control. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

Glad I have this. It does almost everything it seems to do. I had to download the instructions from the USARemote website. It was easy. I programmed it and it works "most of the time". The unlock and lock buttons work correctly, the "raise gate" button actually opens the rear window now, and the rear window button doesn't do anything (I'll live with that btw). If you follow the instructions carefully, you can program multiple remote controls. It is important to press the button on each remote control before completing the last step.
