Doesn't work on Corolla 2008.

Even though the description said it would work on a 2008 Corolla, it didn't work. I was able to cut the key and program the transponder, but the door remote is not compatible. I am very disappointed that the seller is making false claims. Not only did I spend money on a key, I also had to pay a locksmith to cut etc.

WORKS PERFECTLY! in Anti-Theft

I have a 2009 Toyota Avalon so the remote MUST be programmed by a locksmith through the OBDII port. Luckily I work at a car rental company and have hired a guy to cut and program our keys. Made for free. You can program the button function for locking and unlocking the doors yourself, but in my car year it still had to be programmed onto the chip on the computer.

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Works just as advertised!

Works great on my 2009 Toyota Avalon. My car needed a locksmith to cut and program it, but it was still cheaper than parts and labor from my local dealer. One thing though, at least for the year I was built there were three different ways to operate the trunk button:. One press, two quick presses, and one long press. If one doesn't work, try the other two.

WILL NOT WORK ON 2010 TOYOTA COROLLA LE. WRONG CHIP

THESE KEYS WILL NOT WORK AS IS FOR A 2010 Toyota Corolla. I bought 2 of these because the car I recently bought came with 1 standard key without a fob. The research I did in relation to the reviews I looked at etc led me to believe these keys would work for my new car. My auto mechanic personally checked them and found that the chips in those keys were wrong; The reason is that Toyota chips are not backward compatible. My locksmith was able to replace the chips with the correct ones and use the

They work, most people just don't know what they're doing.

Powered by 09 Toyota Matrix. They work, most people just don't know what they're doing. You have to do 3 things, most people can only do one of 3.1. Software remote control (lock/unlock keys, instructions are included in the box) 2. Cut the key3. Program the transponder chip. You must either be able to use the car computer, have the appropriate software and scanner, or entrust it to a mechanic or an experienced locksmith. Most locksmiths cannot program. There is a device for sale on Revain and…

SKIP to end of story if you want a short story

Seems to work, but not quite. Leanently would do it again, but you might be better off buying a key from your dealer and asking them not to program it unless you want to pay $$ (a few bugs that could be user error). I noticed that these keys were slightly longer than the factory ones. And slightly shorter in key areas. The goal was to reprogram an old model car that I own. I made an attempt to a local place that had a coffee grinder. They said they didn't guarantee they would make a working…
