Car Mate PL111A Mirror Auxiliary Review

Used mirror for CRV. It really helps with this car's blind spots. It's really easy to install and won't fall off. I use auxiliary mirrors to complement the primary mirror. That means I don't tilt extra mirrors onto other areas. I've been using it for almost a year with no problems.

This mirror allows you to see the entire rear window and only the outside left and right, so the correct setting effectively eliminates the blind spots you run into both sides of your vehicle from the original rear view mirrors and side rear view mirrors. It definitely adds a layer of safety, security and driving confidence. Once you start using it, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

This rearview mirror has been a lifesaver for me and I'm SO glad I bought it! This thing distorts vision (things in the mirror are further than you see), but you're actually using the rearview mirror to measure distance or tell what's behind you. The back of the mirror is white plastic and looks cheap and unfinished when looking at the car because the spring mounts are visible. Lack of smooth surface. It also looks huge. I recently purchased an F-350 Crewcab. The standard mirror that came with the kit is so small it's a joke. I was looking for a larger mirror and came across this one. Ouch! I bought this for my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. There is enough space between the visors on this car so that they can be folded in completely by hitting the mirrors.
