Inserts rattled, but still good quality.

Pad rattles. Luckily it wasn't welded very well so it was easy to use a hammer and break a few of the welds. They jumped right out. The brackets that keep him out of sight. They stick out a lot when clamped onto a 2.5 inch pipe. Good corrosion resistance, after one month. value for price.

Looks very good! And easy to install!

Looks good and attaches easily to my 2004 PT Cruiser. My only issue so far is that the assembly parts really stand out and distract from the product. I might try painting the hardware black to hide it a bit. [Update] I painted the assembly parts black which made them much harder to see which made this product even better!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Nice chrome tip for the price

Overall this is a good product. Not great but good. Perfect fit for my 2018 Ford Focus. The quality issue is that there are two internal spot welds that clearly extend to the outside of the tube. The external defects were then chrome plated, which carried over the defects into the final chrome plating. This will most likely cause the chrome in these two areas to chip off in a relatively short period of time.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Useless features

Looks great and fits well

Looks great and fits well. My exhaust pipes are 2-1/4" and these chrome extensions were slid right on top of them. The stainless steel plating should help them last a while, as opposed to the standard "chrome only" ones I've had before. I'll put these in Updated about 6 months ago and report on how they are holding up!Very happy so far.Product update:I've had them for over 2 years now and they still look great!A few drops of chrome polish 3 times a year keeps them looking new!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Original review: Good bang for your buck! They came through with no problems and seem to be holding up pretty well. 1 year update: retaining clips and bolts completely rusted. A tab slipped back (almost completely off the exhaust) and I was unable to reattach the tab as the rusty bolts came loose. The tips have also been carbon coated on the inner flanges. So in conclusion, don't expect these tips to last very long if you live in a rust belt.

Pros
  • Excellent general properties
Cons
  • Slightly torn

0/10 Don't waste your money.

That was a bad idea on my part, but I taped this thing onto my bike's exhaust pipe, under the seat, and over the rear wheel. After about 2 hours of driving the set screws loosened while I was driving at about 55 km/h. It landed and pulled under my rear wheel causing cardiac arrest accompanied by a loud bang that lifted my rear wheel slightly off the ground. I avoided the accident, but this situation could have been very, very bad. If you use it, weld it on. Or at least tighten the set screws…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Great cheap tailpipe and easy install

I tried this product on my Outlander Sport and am glad I did. First, the inner case is pretty dumb so I knocked it out. The tip isn't exactly stainless steel, more like lightly brushed aluminum. Not as shiny as in the picture. But what makes this a great choice is how cheap it is and how great my exhaust looks. To achieve this I had to die cut the dumb inner casing and paint the outer brackets black to hide them. They stick out like sore fingers if you look straight at the exhaust from behind…

  • New
