We bought two of these to transport kayaks. Figuring out the best way to secure yaks is a little tricky at first, but after practice it's easy! They are strong and even have soft handles to protect our precious cargo. It made kayak trips easy!

I bought this kayak holder for my cargo trailer. This product meets my expectations and more. All metal parts are powder coated. The pads are shaped to fit and look good. All parts were present and easy to assemble. Haven't used a carrier yet but I know it will work great.

Well built and sturdy but too small for my 33 inch wide Vibe Sea Ghost 130 kayak. J-Racks are not required if you only need to transport one kayak on a vehicle. I recommend not buying if like me you have a big kayak. Might be good for a whitewater kayak.

This is a great product in every way but not really versatile. Universal means it fits in any rack. I measured and everything fit product sizing standards, but it didn't fit in my trunk because the long carriage bolts weren't long enough. If I had the metal racks shown in the pictures it would be a different story. Still a good product! It was really strong when I assembled it.

Works like a charm! The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the straps that came with it. They didn't look as good as I wanted and I read another review that said they failed on someone's journey and lost theirs. Kayak. This kayak holder was easy to install, easy to use, and mounted securely without any special tools. I attached my kayak to the racks with two ratchet straps that I purchased separately and rode 325 miles. Neither the kayak nor the racks moved at all. Arrived safely…
