Enhanced Carburetor Repair Rebuild Kit for Edelbrock 1400, 1404, 1405, 1406, 1407, 1409, 1411 - Optimize Performance Review

I'm not sure what this set is actually for, but I took the risk of saving it instead of the Edelbrock branded set I usually get get. Most of the parts in the kit did not fit my 1411.

Some parts in this kit are not designed for specified carburetors. I had to modify the primary amp pads to make them work. Carbohydrate. The linkage did not fit into the hole at the end of the accelerator pump. Very poor quality and not worth the price.

Very Poor Quality. The material from which the accelerator pump was made became unusable when immersed in gasoline. For real? I had to buy new ones which cost more than these kits. Seats didn't fit, wrong thread size. I had to use my old ones. I would not recommend this product.

cheap counterfeit repair kit with wrong parts. The Excelerator pump spring was the wrong diameter and the hole in the pump shaft was too small to reattach the S-clamp. All other parts and gaskets were either too tight to fit or too loose to use. Spend a little more money and get an OEM conversion kit from Edelbrock.

I wanted a carburettor kit for my 1405 eldei mainly because of the new accelerator pump. This kit should be fine. The problem is that the accelerator pump doesn't fit snugly in the hole and the shaft pin hole is too small to connect to the swingarm. so I couldn't use it. The brass needle and seats would not screw into my carb, had to use mine. And the top seal is very tight. I recommend sticking with the OEM
