Mine requires no calibration and seems accurate

Depending on the size of your fuel/vacuum lines you may need to purchase additional hoses and tees but I like that it comes with a carrying case . The fact that it comes with a case makes it hard to complain, but it's larger than it should be in all the wrong places. Therefore, to put it back in the case, you will have to remove the hose. If something had been provided for, the case would have been designed so that it could contain a pressure gauge with a hose attached.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not sure

It works like a vacuum gauge

I only used it as a vacuum gauge to set the idle screws in my truck's carburetor after it was repaired. It seemed to give reasonable measurements and I was able to use it successfully to set a screw. I cannot assume any liability for the other properties. It's worth noting that it only comes with one hose and is a bit oversized. I had to add a small hose clamp so it will seal snugly on the barb fitting on my intake manifold, which is sized to fit a hose that is about 1/8" ID.

  • Quality construction

Not sure if it measures pressure accurately

I received this product to measure the back pressure in my exhaust. I understand it's not designed for that, but it should be able to measure air pressure no matter where it's coming from. I was expecting the back pressure readings to be at least around 1-2 psi, but they showed less than one wherever I checked. When I blew in I couldn't get it to 2psi either and while I don't know the exact pressure my lungs can generate I was expecting around 5. To sum it up, you don't think it measures…

  • Great for outdoor activities

Incredible Value

I suspected my car had a vacuum leak which was causing the brakes to work poorly. I bought this and was able to trace the vacuum to a split section of hard plastic tube. The sensor is large and easy to read. It has labels on the area that you can use to determine things like expected vacuum readings, which is really helpful. Some report it was a bit off zero when unplugged. Mine was perfect and if not there would be an easy adjustment screw in the front. Very happy with the sensor and by doing…
