The lock bolt will not open, especially with a child in your arms. Badly designed. The middle part is attached with a thin screw and keeps breaking. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

This product works great, I just can't get over the price. You have to order so many kits to hang the gate that it costs more than the gate itself. When I realized I had spent $54 and only got enough to hang 1 gate, I went to Home Depot and bought some 2" x 1" board and some bolts, nuts and washers for less than $15. Mine works just as well. Ridiculous markup.

This product is described as a "set" which gives the impression that 1 set fits 1 goal, however 1 "set" only contains 2 wooden blocks with Nuts and bolts, then As 2 fixing points are usually required to mount 1 goal. The description doesn't state that you might need 2 "sets" for 1 goal. You are forced to buy another set and pay extra shipping cost or pay the "restocking fee" and lose shipping and handling fee.

Let's face it, this is a very basic product. I bought it because it should be easy to use and I don't need to buy screws, cut wood, drill holes etc. Of course I could do it, but I didn't need to change anything when buying this product. The 4" screws that come with the kit only end up being about 1" threaded. So if your posts are less than about 2 inches, you are SOL with these screws. The instructions say you need to buy shorter screws - ok then why not just include fully threaded screws or…

1. The product description states that racks can be installed 1.5" thick in one place and 2 3/4" thick in the other. The 1.5 inch number is wrong.2. The height of these brackets is about 1.5 inches.
