I use a tool roll specifically for folding knives and it works great for this purpose. It has some sleeves that are wider than others for my thicker binders. The bag is high quality and adjustable depending on how many tools you have. Buy another one for lost screwdrivers and torx drivers. Recommend this list of tools to keep everything organized.

Bought hoping the straps would be long enough to attach a pulley to my front rack with a huge NY Kryptonite chain inside. (This thing is heavy!) Anyway, forget the cheaper ones, I've tried two. None of them were thick/soft to protect your bike's paintwork and one of them popped open quickly. It's worth the higher price as it's much better built and stronger.

I'm a handyman. This is a wonderful set of tools. I have one for wrenches and one for general tools that I use for almost every job. I beat them for over four years and they hardly wear out. They have two adjustable straps on the outside to secure them so you can tighten the roll and keep everything in place. I highly recommend them and will buy them again.

I love tool rolls and Carhartt so this article became a hit. Not the best tool set I've ever had, but well made and very attractive. I wish there were multiple configurations, but this is perfect for a wrench set, so if you're in Rome, grab a Carhartt wrench tool kit. Probably not suitable for knives. But for files or maybe range tools. This is a genuine Carhartt canvas, so it should hold up to any abuse you throw at it.

I used to have one big drawer for all my bike tools but it has turned into a mess. So I bought it, rolled it all up and put it back in the tool box along with things like spare tubes. It doesn't save space, but it's more organized now. It was a bit tight to fit everything in this thing, but I no longer have to dig through the box and make a mess and feel like I'm losing things in it every time I need a tool.
