Not so good

When I buy a Carhartt I expect to pay for quality. The price is in relation to the higher price of the jeans I bought for my son. I ordered 4 pairs in August. By December all knees had been torn. The triple seams on the inner seam (in the buttocks area) didn't hold up. I reordered in January. 2 out of 4 couples have torn knees. I have a burly 7 year old who wears Carhartt (whatever he wants), but at $30 a pair I expect more.

Pros
  • These denim jeans are stretchy enough to keep you comfortable in every way and to withstand tough play.
Cons
  • Was damaged

Favorite jeans for kids!

These jeans definitely live up to the Carhartt reputation - my three boys play and work hard on the ranch and they do more good than any other pair of jeans! The only reason I have to buy more is because they've outgrown them or because an older brother's used item broke his knee. My boys are tall and skinny but they have an adjustable waistband which is amazing! My husband wears the men's version and the boys love being dad's mini-me too. LOL Definitely my childhood jeans.

Pros
  • Zipper
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Hole in the dam after 4 months. Any pair!

Same issue as previous reviewer. After 4 months of use, holes formed in the perineum. I've only been buying Carhartt overalls for the past 6 years (4 pairs for 4 boys) and before they got too big for them I was able to get them on to at least one younger brother for them to use before they get skinny at the knees from the action. Guys. Now there seems to be a problem with the quality of the step. The holes become too big to be unseen, rendering them useless (and embarrassing to wear!)…

Pros
  • Waist logo button for sizes 4-7 and logo button for sizes 8-16
Cons
  • Legacy
