Carlin Womens Artistic Roller Skates Review

I love these skates. They were a bit snug and tight to begin with so they definitely need to be broken in. It took me about 6 or 7 sessions to feel completely comfortable. I like that they are leather. This makes them flexible and more durable than vinyl. The bearings are sealed, which is good. Socks wear out quicker than I would like, but they're easy to replace. These skates bring me so much joy.

So far I really like these skates. They aren't too soft like Impalas or other brands I've seen and I prefer that. The top is reinforced and very stiff so they will definitely break over time. That's why I half laced it up for ice skating so it's easy to turn. They are much better suited to thinner legs as the toe box is quite narrow. Overall I think these are quality skates and I am very happy that Carlins are finally in all black!

These black skates are made in men's sizes so make sure you choose the right size. My foot is on the narrower side and there was still a bit of pinching at the sides of my foot which took a while to break in. Now they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. BE CAREFUL!
