Make sure you have access to a blasting machine.

I love the tread pattern on the Multi Trac C/S and even ordered spare tires for my 2012 lawnmower. The first set lasted 8 years and probably could have lasted longer, but I kept blowing air into one or the other due to plugs and leaks. I have already ordered and replaced Carlilse tires for my other mowers but this time it was quite difficult as the tires were compressed for transport. After spending 4 hours installing the beads, I took the wheels and tires to the dealer to complete the…

2000 John Deere 425 Rear Tire Replacement

After 18 years of using the stock rear tires (23 x 10.50-12 NHS/2 PLY) that came with my 2000 John Deere 425 they just didn't hold up long time. So I did a little research and found that 26×12-12 NHS/4 PLY tires could be an upgrade over 2000 John Deere 445 (gasoline) and 455 (diesel) models. I have yet to assemble them and as for Revain who sent them, I'm amazed at how quickly they arrived. I just ordered them 24 hours ago, wow. After checking the John Deere forum and dealer both said that if…

Replaced front tires on John Deere 1025r

Tire tread was identical compared to origami. The attached picture shows a newly mounted tire on the left and the removed original tire on the right. In fact, they are almost the same size, although the original looks much smaller when removed and not inflated. The only difference that bothers me so far is that the new tires feel "springier" which may indicate that the sidewalls aren't as stiff. For grass cutting and other light work this isn't a problem, but I'll definitely update this review…

As expected. See tire specs and model number in my review below.

Only 4 stars because the tire model number is missing from the description and I couldn't tell exactly what I bought before purchasing. FYI I bought size 18/8.5-10. Full Description: C5743U11 CR 18/ 8.5-10/B Multi Trac C/S. This tire is made in China. This is a 4 ply tire on my USA made tractor. It also has 4 layers. (I was hoping for 8 layers.) My tires now have 20+ Mesquite spike plugs. six years. I hope/expect at least good results from these tires. Note. The Carlisle website lists this tire

Tires Carlisle 18x8.50-8. Heavy duty

I don't know if they screwed up or not, but I bought the right tire size. However, I received an Implement rated 8 PLY US made tire. This far exceeds what my small John Deere F510 front mower requires or was originally supplied with (2 layers). They were a bit difficult to mount without giving in to the profile or sidewall. The key to easily mounting a tire is to use REAL tire soap (heavy soap mix in a bucket - no liquid mud, no dish soap, no aerosol cleaner, no WD40. And clean the rim. If the…
