Bought the same batch of paints I had at home to continue my project. The dark purple came out darker than other strands I've had at home with the same batch of dye. Other purples in strands had the same shade. Dissatisfied.

I bought this Caron yarn to knit a baby blanket for my new grandson. I wasn't impressed with the color or texture of the yarn. There were several spots in the skein that were tied together. I decided this wasn't a good weight for a newborn afghan, so I bought a few more skeins to make a sofa cover out of. I will not buy this yarn again.

I love the fall colors in it but my problem with knitting a blanket with it was that there were places where one color stayed forever and large patches of one color formed an area. I often had to cut and knot the yarn to get the best color blend. I want the colors to be more even, say only 4 or 5 inches at a time to blend them better. Also, some colors were not dyed very well and small white threads were visible. However, this is a very soft yarn and solid colors work very well.
