Carrier Waterproof Reinforced Carrying Suitable Review

We needed more space for our trip to the beach and came across this roof bag and boy did it deliver! While the instructions are fairly simple, it's easy to set up and fits so much! Truly a life saver!

I bought a 15cc roof rack. Feet for your suburb. My suburb has side rails so tying it to the roof was very easy. In fact, I could fit two of these 15 cu ft roof racks on my country roof if needed. So far it has worked well and I haven't had any problems. It hasn't rained yet, so I can't say anything about the impregnation.

Overall it's a good bag but the velcro on it needs to be stronger or some other mechanism should be used instead. We took a 12 hour trip to Arizona and the wind blew up the velcro exposing the zipper and when it rained the rain came through. When we got to our destination and opened the bag, there was water in it. Maybe turning around could have prevented it, I'm not sure, but that's the only downside I have. Otherwise it serves its purpose.

IT IS NOT WATERPROOF! The second time we used it we opened it up to find it filled with water and all our stuff that was packed in it got wet. It was so devastating that many of our belongings were completely ruined by the wet clothes. Not waterproof! The size is great, fits in most luggage. Not ideal if you have a tall car. I have a Lexus GX 460 and am 5ft 9" tall and had to use a ladder to put most of my luggage inside.
