Very nice soft fleece, medium weight. The hardest part was buying fleece pajamas (top and bottom) in stores. The Carter stores I visited only had fleece pads or fleece pants with a thin knit top. I would definitely buy again

I checked this specifically because I know some pajama tops and bottoms are not fleece. When choosing a raccoon, 100% polyester is written, in the version with a raccoon not at all. The top is NOT fleece. My son said he was cold from above. I never understood the importance of different upper and lower materials. Do you only freeze half of your body?!? I don't know what's the matter with carters, but no matter how tall they are, they always make shirts smaller than pants. I love her style so I've bought a couple of pajamas for the past few years and the pants always fit perfectly, but the shirt is small and the sleeves are slim so only suitable for skinny kids.
