Fast delivery but the blade is not very sharp. Shortly after, the company got back to me and said they had a sharpness issue and would be happy to replace my knife if I wasn't happy. A few days went by and my new knife arrived (early) with a razor sharp blade. I am impressed with the knife and the company.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • Not sure

Blade and build quality, you get what you pay for.

This is a cheap item. The blade was poorly made. In use, the knife caught in a piece of wood (knot) and with little effort was deflected and rammed straight into my arm, sending me straight to the hospital. Yes, I took all precautions and was careful. But I think the poor assembly quality is to blame. And the knife needs to be made sharper to prevent something like this from happening.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • High Price

Sharp, carbon steel, holds edge, sharpens well

Not every woodcarving knife is a good buy, either they don't stay sharp or the material doesn't meet par. Beavercraft specifications The Craft is made from carbon steel manufactured and comes ready to use out of the packaging, it is sharp and has a very good edge retention. It can also be sharpened easily. Beavercraft is a great wood carving knife. I have other knives from the same manufacturer that are made of good materials.

Pros
  • Woodworking
Cons
  • Available in white only

. Carving Knife X00100Z2MN -BC7 Well balanced, handy carving knife

Straight Blade Carving Knife X00100Z2MN -BC7 Well balanced and comfortable carving knife. Its straight blade gives the user the ability to remove as much material as they deem necessary. The blade holds the blade very well but is easy to sharpen to factory edge. The thin tip at the end of the knife takes more practice but seems to offer some extreme detail in fine carving. I would recommend this knife for all skill levels.

Pros
  • Crafting
Cons
  • Big and chunky
