🌬️ Casablanca Wisp Indoor Ceiling Fan: LED Light & Remote Control Review

We had a horribly noisy fan in our bedroom, which incidentally was miswired to create a strobe effect when the dimmer was turned on. Does it cause cramps? Yes. Cooling down and relaxation? no We've replaced it with this fan, which is attractive, quiet, and keeps us cool!

Great fan for the price, bought direct from Revain at a lower price than other sellers. Great looking propeller fan, very quiet, easy to install in about 1 hour. Replaced a 30 year old Casablanca so we stayed with the same brand. I haven't had any of the problems others have posted, no installation issues, the fan is very quiet on 2 low settings. Moves a lot of air on high settings. Highly recommended.

I've had so many problems with this fan. I had to return the first one they gave me. Then I got a second one and it won't work properly. Half the time I press the remote to turn on the light but it doesn't work. Every time I have to play the game I try to get close or find the right angle to turn on the light. Very disappointed. The fan is exactly what I wanted, but as another reviewer noted, this fan had a manufacturing defect in the pre-installed metal plate that actually rotated the blades. Sleek, updated fan that complements many decor styles. I wasn't sure about the three blade design but I really like it! One of the things I did NOT notice when reviewing these fans is that the reversing switch is not on the remote. It's in the LED body, so you have to remove the ball to change the flow direction. The photos below show the location of the switch in the fan with the ball removed, as well as the built-in LED block in the brightest and darkest settings. I wanted a fan with a modern/modern look and looked at several models/brands before purchasing two 52" Casablanca Wisp LED fans for use in my living room and Bought master bedroom. I love looking at this fan but the price seems overpriced for what you get. As many say, the blades are made of plastic. It's not good plastic, just plastic, like cheap toy plastic. I think when it goes up and spins it doesn't matter except they seem to be different weights because the fan shakes like a dog walking past a peach pit until I balance the fan (no fun.
