Got what I needed - horses

Durable quality typical of Cashel products. Tends to stay put. Comparable price. This size was perfect for my little horse.

Pros
  • Unique design prevents sagging and slipping
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

lasted less than 3 days

My horse is in a whistle pen, there are no wires, there is nothing to catch and it is not a destroyer. Within 3 days I had 2 that fell apart.

Pros
  • Velcro straps provide an adjustable fit to accommodate your horse's physique.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not powerful enough for pest control

Disappointed. Within a month, a hole about an inch long appeared in one of the kits. Another from another set has smaller holes. These horses are not in the pasture. They are in stands and polished. They are pretty light in their "clothes" so I was surprised.

Pros
  • Four Leg Kit
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Less than a week lifespan

Last summer I bought a pair of Cashel boots for night walks. They lasted a little over a month but the parts that go over the hooves were torn so we cut them off and they had about a month of use left. They helped with mistakes. I bought a second pair for this season and my horse has worn them less than 7 nights. Today I saw that the fabric was torn where the tip meets the hoof. Time to try another brand.

Pros
  • Helps reduce annoying trampling and stress from insects.
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Do not buy. The product is no longer of good quality.

Extremely disappointed. I've always loved Cashel products but my last two purchases, this and a fly mask, have been complete rubbish. My horse wears his "horse clothes" very well (he still has his rug from last winter with no tears or damage) and within a week the velcro started to come loose. His fly mask lasted a little longer but before it wore out completely I bought a Harrison Howard which was cheaper and proved to be much more durable. I have saved Cashel as a backup but will never buy…

Pros
  • Durable mesh leg wraps reduce sun sensitivity and deter flies from biting your horse's legs.
Cons
  • Exterior
