DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

This product did not work when first used. I am extremely disappointed. The entire left side failed on the first dive. Now I cannot transport and use my boat. Now I have to find something else. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Poor quality flashlights, cannot be submerged in water

Only used in water. Flashlights cannot be submerged in water, the bottom lens is removed to replace the lamp, leaving them filled with water. Both bulbs died within a month of purchase and replacement bulbs are difficult to access. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great article. suitable for strong lighting

headlights came with everything I needed plus to complete the job. As I drove my boat into the lake, I backed up to the edge of the ramp and smashed the tail light into pieces. I replaced it with one of the new ones that came with the kit and there is a spare in case I do it again. Very easy to install.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

NOT suitable for diving

When I first used headlights, one of the elements in the brake lights burned out. I dunked it in brackish water and when I got home the right brake light was burned out. I can already say that after loosening the screw from the light bulb holder several times, corrosion will tear it off.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Decent quality parts for heavy and commercial vehicles

Acceptable quality product. The supplied wire is sufficient. The kit fit in easily and they provided all the necessary hardware. Don't know how the light will work after a dive as I haven't used it, but what you get is what you see (plus a few clips etc) and it's not bad quality. What appear to be yellow reflectors are actually side marker lights.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Safety

Dive Taillight Kit

Excellent Taillight Kit. Very easy to install with existing wiring, looks great and works great underwater. No problem with boating this summer, get in and out of the water 10 times with the lights on! It has to do with the way the trailer brakes are connected. Even comes with side markers and all cables, great price too! I will recommend this to a friend!

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Damaged

I ordered these lights thinking submersible meant waterproof. These lanterns are cheaply made from incandescent bulbs that last literally two weeks. I use my boat trailer in salt water and it's not even worth installing. Westbar is a good waterproof LED flashlight. That's what I thought I'd get. Also, the price of this is very high for lamps that fill with water and fail within a week or so.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Protection

One dip in salt water and they're dead

I bought them by mistake. I thought I had ordered LED taillights but when they arrived I found that they were old fashioned. I was desperate for new headlights so I didn't send them back as the other reviews were so good. I wish I had. They went fast and they looked a lot better than the old ones. I didn't change the wiring as it wasn't bad, so I can't comment on the length. They only give you two connections and I don't really like the style used so I used blue crimp connections and sealed…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
