🕘 Casio 290 19mm Black Resin DW280: Superior Quality and Durability for Everyday Use Review

This is an original Casio watch band for the DW290 model. I have a DW-290T and the band fits perfectly. Be sure to save the pins from the previous watch strap. The pins are not included in the watch strap. The strap comes sealed in an original Casio plastic case (not a rectangular hard case).

Casio strap arrived as described and was easy to fit. I had to buy this band because the original Casio band broke pretty quickly. The small wrap around the extra strap came loose after less than a year of light use. The replacement is identical, so the same can happen again. ------------------------ This strap wears better than the original that came with the watch. A bit expensive but the quality seems high. Gave this item another star.

The replacement strap arrived on time and was fairly easy to fit. It took less than a minute, just make sure you have the right size (i.e. small enough) flat head screwdriver to remove and reattach the spring loaded pins that hold the strap in place. Oh, make sure the trail is ok. I managed to flip it the first time but fixed it quickly.

An important question for me was whether this strap would fit my rather old DW-290-T watch. I couldn't find this information anywhere. I could only find that it fits subsequent models. The good news is that they match the original version of this watch. As for the band itself, my experience is that it usually breaks down after about a year.
