This is a great product!

I use it all the time. It's a breeze to use. I've never had print quality issues. It takes a bit of trial and error to figure out which prints you like (I use the clear protective discs that come with the blanks to see if I'm unsure). My only real complaint is that the ink cartridges have to be ordered. If they were available in stores it would be much more convenient. So a star deduction for that.

Pros
  • 5/8 X 2 15/16 thermal printer
Cons
  • unreliable

Casio CW-K85 Disc Title Printer with Keyboard

Excellent value for money. It does what the description says on the Casio website, expect what the product spec says. And please read the instructions. By connecting the printer to a computer and using the included Casio software, you can print your own logo or something else on the disc. I have used this printer to showcase my bands and have printed many CDs with no problems.

Pros
  • Clear, professional-looking results without the hassle of stickers
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Casio disc name printer The only game in town

I currently have two models of Casio CW-50 disc title printers. I just ordered a CW-K85. I have 3 computers, 2 for XP and a third for whist. I found the CW-50s worked fine on XP, but they didn't have a software update to get the units working on Vista. Nobody has ever blogged about it, and Casio hasn't responded to my email inquiries about a possible Vista driver update. I'm buying a Casio printer with a keyboard to use as a standalone printer on my Vista computer. I can speak very well about…

Pros
  • Prints eight lines above and eight lines below center Typical CD opening
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
