The manliest watch you will ever own!

This watch is a beast! It is big. It can take almost anything you can throw at it. You will feel better wearing this watch. As soon as you put it on, you'll grow a beard instantly. This watch isn't called the Mudman for nothing. Any dirt you throw at it will just bounce off and end up on the lower quality watch. Many reviewers note that the buttons are difficult to press. Some reviewers even consider it a minus. For real? If you find it too difficult to press the small button on your watch…

This replaces my G2900 which was still working after 8 years but kept breaking clock pins for some reason. In the picture it is shown next to the Casio Duro for reference of the dial size. What I like: 1. Lost only 1 second last month.2. The display is simple, with no extra space, unnecessary circles, and frills3. I like the design aesthetically; looks high quality. (Dual backlight is very nice too) 4. The way the strap sits and the little rubber feet under the dial keep the watch from spinning

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities

Great Watch - Not Tiny

Great watch, like all G-Shocks. It is very comfortable on the wrist and has a smaller or "normal" range compared to many large-bodied models. If you want a G but don't want anything huge and bulky, this is a good choice. Yes, the buttons are hard to press, but that's a design, not a flaw. All buttons have caps molded as part of the faceplate to keep dirt out. My wrist is about 7.25 inches long and I wear it loosely in the sixth from last hole. If you've ever owned a Rangeman, the feel of the…

A resilient watch that does everything you need at a reasonable price.

I own this watch a week ago, it's my first and only G-Shock watch. I do a lot of mountain biking and bike camping and my "good" hours are always behind me. It seemed like a good cheap alternative to solid reliable watches. Here's what I like about this watch and why I choose it. First, they have everything you need. There are more fully functional watches out there, but do you need them? I don't need a thermometer, sunrise/sunset, moon phase or barometer. The compass may be good, but I can live

This watch beats me!

This watch is going strong once everyone gets out. I bought it because I figured that a watch designed for the rigors of motocross racing would have a good chance of staying on my wrist at my job. I was not disappointed. I wore it every day for 8 months on intense, bone-crushing, rock-shattering excavations as an archaeologist field technician in Colorado, and it turned out to be in better shape than me. Day after day, I dug into hard ground with 6-pound Fiskers shovels (excellent shovels only…
