Salvaged an old chair on casters

Bought these for round pipes that sit on the floor, as a seat for door panel work etc. Gave them new life and bought smooth casters too.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Easy to remove and replace

Inserts to replace two worn inserts on a Sears Craftsman Chair Creeper Creeper. Using a heat gun, heat the tube and then pull out the old part. New parts were installed with a hard rubber mallet.

Pros
  • Wheels
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hard to find and they work.

As far as I remember, this product used to be sold in hardware stores, but now they have mysteriously disappeared. Not enough profit in them I think. But I don't know how else to attach the casters to the legs.

Pros
  • Material Processing Products
Cons
  • High Price
