Description of CASTER SWIVEL POLYURETHANE Standard Plate

Easy rolling heavy duty 375 pound capacity 4 inch Swivel Caster. Standard size 2-3/8 inch x 3-5/8 inch top plate with 1-3/4 inch x 2-7/8 inch bolt slots on center. Heavy duty steel housing with ball bearings. Non-marking airless 4 inch polyurethane wheel with a ground contact width of 1-1/8 inch. Overall height of assembly is 5 inches.

Smooth and reliable caster

Based on my experience this caster has been excellent for moving heavy loads around the shop. The swivel action is smooth and reliable, and the polyurethane wheels don't leave any marks or scuffs on the floor.however, I do wish the plate was a bit more heavy-duty to better support larger items..

Heavy loads in handling units

Bought a used Snap-Loc cart for personal use with AT tires but I didn't like the high ground clearance which made it look like the load could easily tip the cart over. I used Snap-Loc Carts at my previous job and was amazed at how well these products move heavy equipment. Our carts at the company had 4 inch casters and never had the same problems as the casters on cheap wooden furniture carts. I only paid $30 for a used Snap Loc dolly so I figured buying 2 of these along with 2 brake casters…
