Locking system doesn't work at all. You can pull it and open the top. Would recommend others to buy a more expensive one with an RFID lock.

The product arrived in a fairly large box and I was hoping it was mostly assembled. NOT RIGHT! Comes in many pieces, poorly finished and the front of the top was broken. Really don't waste your money

This was the perfect anniversary present for my husband. He enjoys it. The locking mechanism was very difficult to use. The pin inside would not come loose when the magnet was pointed at it. We ended up sealing it with tape so it would never close.

only buy this unit if you are willing to fix it if it breaks like my two did. The processing leaves a lot to be desired at best. The angle on the main body is not 90° as it should be. I ordered one, sent it back only to receive a second one damaged in the same place.

I paid about $190 for the night stand and was refunded about $50 upon arrival due to some damage. I am satisfied with the product for the price of $140.00.
