Good for the price

Rugged construction, comes with all hardware to install. The only problem I had was that the weld was too big in one spot and I couldn't install it unless I shaved off the excess. weld, also be careful with the bolts, they are very soft steel and it's easy to damage the threads if over tightened, also it was easy to install them with new gaskets

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Frequency

Frontier catalytic converters

They are good, code p0420/430 on my border for about a year. I bought them because of the good reviews. The studs have good welds and flanges. I bought class 8 bolts at a local hardware store and additional cat metal gaskets like OEM on a truck to prevent leaks. The codes are gone and now I have over 100 miles. I live in Texas and don't want to buy California carb cats so I bought them.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Something else

Good quality but expensive compared to similar others

Both catalytic converters received quickly, appear to be quite well finished and match our 06 Pathfinder LE as advertised. Normally I would choose OEM but we are selling a truck and they have had good reviews. I was in a hurry to install them so I didn't search too much but after researching them a bit I saw that many vendors are selling the exact same ones for a lot less, in some places you can get 2 for buy the price of what one of them costs. But as long as they're doing their job, it's…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not automatic

Don't waste money.

Scrap. Bought because of the good price. Bought one for each side. When installed, the surfaces did not fit together perfectly, but were close together. The engine light came on immediately. OBD codes 0420 and 0430. Just replaced all O2 sensors with good ones. I took it to a mechanic and he said it was probably bad catalytic converters but it could be an exhaust leak due to a mismatch. Took a muffler that matched my exhaust to the curve of the cat converters. Exhaust leak gone, engine light and
